Living Your Strengths Research Study

Living Your Strengths Research to be conducted by Pastor Karn as part of the requirements for her Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Preaching. If you know your Top Five Talent Themes according to Gallup’s Strengthsfinder and have heard the sermon preached on Sunday, May 6, please click on the link below and you will be directed to Survey Monkey. Responses will be anonymous and much appreciate by Pastor Karn!

Church Directory Sign-up has begun!

We are excited to announce that photography has begun! The directory will help us connect names with faces.

It will be an ideal outreach tool and will capture the history of our church congregation.

Every participating family/household that selects a pose for the directory will receive a free church directory and a $25 Portrait Gift Certificate, no purchase necessary.

The next dates for photography and portrait viewing are:

May 15 Tuesday 2:00 PM to 9:20 PM

May 16 Wednesday 2:00 PM to 9:20 PM

May 17 Thursday 2:00 PM to 9:20 PM

May 18 Friday 2:00 PM to 9:20 PM

May 19 Saturday 9:30 AM to 5:10 PM

May 18 & 19 are booked up at this time. You can try and trade with someone.

Please allow 45 minutes to an hour for your photo session and picking proofs.

Confirmation 2012

It has been such a blessing and joy to spend the last three years studying, worshipping, retreating, and developing relationships with this year’s confirmation class. On May 20 at 1:00 PM these young people will affirm their baptisms in a special worship service at Our Savior’s. They have completed sermon notes demonstrating regular worship attendance, provided over 1900 hours of service to our congregation, written faith statements, have memorized bible verses and received instruction in Lutheran teachings. Parents and the church have upheld promises made at their baptisms, confident that God, too, has kept the promises made! Please continue to hold these young people in prayer as they affirm their faith and grow in their love of Christ.

We support each other in difficult times, we challenge one another to grow in our faith and we take seriously the call to be the body of Christ for our community. Joining OSLC

If you are looking to be a part of a congregation, we invite you to take a close look at Our Savior’s. We offer New Member Orientation four times per year for those who have already made a decision to join, but also for persons who would like to learn more about us. In these classes we explore our Lutheran faith, learn about Our Savior’s ministries and programs, and meet other people who are considering membership. Call the church office if you are interested in membership.
