Rev. Steve SylvesterLead Pastor
Steve hails from Columbia, Missouri, home of the University of Missouri. Steve was graduated from Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS (an ELCA college), in 1981, and after some wrestling with God's plans for him finally made it to Luther Seminary in Saint Paul in 1986. Ordained in 1991, Steve has served congregations in Pepin, Wisconsin, Northeast Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Dallas, Texas. He arrived in Circle Pines in January 2007 after accepting the call to serve as Lead Pastor at Our Savior's. Steve's wife, Jennifer, is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. She has sung in various choirs and vocal ensembles, and has done several productions in the chorus of the Minnesota Opera. Professionally, Jennifer is a Speech and Language Pathologist with the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Steve and Jennifer live in Lino Lakes with their three cats, Loki, Odin and Ragnar, and their Alaskan Malamute dog, Freyja. They have two sons, Sam, who works with the Conservation Corps, and Charlie, who is a sophomore at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Steve is a reader, an avid canoeist and cyclist, and enjoys working with Christian leaders to move from private piety to public faith.

Tim MaybeePastor for Community Engagement
Tim grew up all around central and eastern Iowa. Having started considering a call to ministry in high school, he studied religion at Wartburg College where, in addition to his studies, he was active in advocacy work pertaining to hunger, poverty, and racism. After graduating, Tim attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul where he received his M.Div. Tim is passionate about scripture and theology, good fiction, running, racial and economic justice, music, and his dog, Franklin. He lives in St. Paul and loves empowering people to live out their faith in daily life.

Rev. Craig HansonPastor of Senior Ministry
I am married to Cindy. I have four children: Heather, Anne (Steve), Matthew (Becky) and Mark. I have four grandchildren: Christian is 18, Liz is 12, Kate is 8 and Zack is 8. I was ordained in 1976 at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. I have served in the following congregations: 1976-1982 Roseville Lutheran, Roseville, MN; 1982-1987 Good Shepherd Lutheran in Wells, MN; 1987-2006 First Lutheran, Fargo, North Dakota; 2006-2013 Roseville Lutheran , Roseville, MN. I retired June 2014. I unretired March 2014 to serve Our Savior’s. I enjoy running, traveling, teaching, gardening, and working at Our Savior’s.

Kyung KoDirector of Music/Choir Co
Kyung joined the staff at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (ELCA) in June of 2016, to serve the church’s music ministry as Director of Music. As an active conductor, baritone soloist and accompanist, Kyung collaborated and directed with numerous choral organizations and community engagements such as the Washington Choral Arts Society, Cathedral Choral Society, Bach Collegium Ensemble in Lincoln, NE and the Advent Project in Northern Virginia. Kyung held similar positions in Louisville, KY, Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Lincoln, NE and experienced various roles as section leader, organist, pianist, soloist and conductor. His passion for traditional and contemporary church music has been molded from various ministry involvements, YWAM (Youth With A Mission), KOSTA (Korean Students in America) and young adult ministry in local churches while pursuing studies in choral music. A native of Seoul, South Korea, Kyung earned a Bachelor of Music in church music at Yonsei University, Korea. He holds a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of Louisville, Kentucky and doctoral candidate at University of Nebraska. Kyung is married to his wonderful wife Jiwhi Eo and they are the parents of Jeremiah and Esther.

Charisse FroemkeCYF Associate - Confirmation
Charisse Froemke grew up in Springfield Illinois. She graduated from Illinois Staste University with a degree in Social Work. She started working as Confirmation Coordinator in June of 2004. She enjoys spending time with the youth of Our Saviors. She has been a Confirmation Guide and has gone on several mission trips with the Middle school youth. Some of her duties include: Coordinating students into small groups, assigning guides and junior guides to these groups, distributing curriculum, and organizing and recording students service hours and sermon notes.

Danielle DraheimCYF Associate - Children
Danielle has been a member of Our Savior's since she was born. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at OSLC. She graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a math cognate, and a Kindergarten endorsement. . Danielle loves to work with children. In the past, she was the handbell director at Our Saviors for 10 years. She was also a Sunday School and VBS teacher, on the salt team, confirmation helper, youth club coordinator, and other activities.She has been a daycare director and a teacher at Noah’s Ark Preschool at Our Saviors. Danielle works full time at Kraus Anderson Construction Company in Circle Pines. She and her husband, John, live in Blaine with their 3 children, Alyssa, Hannah, and Tyler. Alyssa attends Centennial Middle School, and Hannah and Tyler attend Golden Lake Elementary, and the 3 kids are very involved at OSLC, just like their parents were growing up! In her free time she likes to spend time with the family, scrapbook, go to the cabin in Alexandria, and relax.

Nick GilbertCYF Associate - Youth
Nick Gilbert is from Shoreview and was born and raised at OSLC. He graduated with a degree in Youth Ministry from Bethel University in May 2012. He has volunteered with the Our Savior’s youth program since graduating high school. He has had the opportunity to work with youth in different areas and churches like Incarnation Lutheran Church and Sugar Creek Bible Camp. He loves to find new and creative ways to present faith in ways that youth can relate.

Debbie ZiturAdministrative Assistant
Deb is from the south suburbs of Chicago. She attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan, graduating with a degree in Applied Sciences. She has lived in six states and has traveled to over 32 countries. She has three daughters & six grandchildren, 2 stepsons and 8 inherited grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, which she would happily tell you all about. Deb was baptized and confirmed as an adult at Trinity Lutheran in Oak Lawn, IL, (ELCA) and in her moves has devoted much time to church, including choir, worship and music committees, Bible Study facilitator, Sunday School Teacher, Reader, Greeter, Altar Guild, and even knocked on doors evangelizing with one of her pastors. She has been active in her children’s schools as room mother, Fund Raising Chairman, After Prom and After Grad Party Chairman, and President of the PTO. She has been involved with numerous newcomers groups holding all offices and being responsible for newsletters and numerous social events. Once the children were on their own, Deb entered the workforce, first working for the Minnesota South District for the Missouri Lutheran Church in the area of stewardship, evangelism, social ministry, demographics and statistics, and finance. After 4 years and earning 2 certifications through The International Association of Administrative Professionals, she branched out to the corporate world and started a career in telecommunications, first as an administrative assistant in sales and marketing at Nextel in Bloomington, MN and then transferring to Overland Park, KS as an office coordinator and executive assistant for the entire Kansas market. After nine years, Nextel and Sprint merged and she moved to the Sprint headquarters campus in Overland Park, Kansas and supported the sales and marketing teams for the Custom Network Solutions Department. When the economy turned, so did her career. So she and her new husband Dave moved to Waverly MN from Missouri to be close to all the children and grandchildren who live in MN and WI. Deb spends her free time helping Dave remodel their lake home, volunteering at her church, and spending time with her 90 year old mom, her best friend. She enjoys handcrafts such as quilting, cross stitch, sewing draperies, crocheting and knitting, and gourmet cooking, Deb and her husband Dave live in Anoka.

Christine VentrelliFinance and Operations
Christine was raised in Fridley, MN, and received her first communion, was confirmed and married at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton, MN. She received her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in May of 1995. She held various accounting positions at Allianz Life Insurance Company in Minneapolis from 1995-2008. Since then, she served as treasurer of the Rice Lake PTO and Cub Scout Troop 232 and is also the accountant for her husband's electrical contracting business. Christine and her husband, Doug, live in Lino Lakes and have been members at OSLC since 2002. They have three children, Joe, Will and Cate, who are students in the Centennial school district and are active in youth/children's ministry at OSLC. Over the years, Christine has served at OSLC as a puppets director and table parent for youth club, a communion server, treasurer of the planning council and a chaperone on the 2018 ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, TX. She also enjoys traveling, live music, camping, hiking. and spending time at the cabin with her family.

Char ToddDirector of Noah's Ark Preschool
Charlotte grew up on a farm one mile from Our Savior's and has been a member of Our Savior's all her life!She attended Augsburg College and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Home Economics and Early Childhood Education. She has served in many capacities at our Savior's including the church council, Sunday school Superintendent, librarian, church secretary, Sunday school and VBS teacher and on numerous committees. She began teaching at Noah's Ark in 1976 and became its director in 1978. Char and husband, Bruce have 6 children. Her favorite free time activity is spending time with her 11 grandchildren and 2 great grand children and vacationing at the ocean and Disney World. Her goal for the future is to find time to use the closet full of quilting and scrap booking supplies she has acquired over the years.
