ELCA Grant for CCFS

Hi all, my name is Pat Benoy, and I am a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Last October, on behalf of Our Savior’s, I applied for an ELCA World Hunger “Daily Bread Feeding Ministry” grant. This grant is designed to support and strengthen existing food-based ministries by providing a one-time award of up to $500.

I am grateful to share that I was recently notified that our application was approved. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has been awarded $500 in support of the Centennial Community Food Shelf feeding ministry program.

We received a thoughtful message from the ELCA World Hunger team that I would like to share:

“With so many families experiencing increasing need in the face of economic strain, it is an honor to partner with ministries like yours that serve as a beacon of hope. We are grateful for the opportunity to accompany one another in sharing daily bread with communities across the U.S.”

I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the board members who generously volunteer their time and energy to support this important ministry. Your dedication makes this work possible and continues to make a meaningful difference in our community.
