YOUTH
At OSLC's Youth Ministries, our mission is to cultivate the faith and personal growth of our young people through a variety of engaging activities and opportunities for meaningful connections. We invite you to be part of our vibrant community, where you can participate in inspiring events and find a supportive network that encourages youth to explore their spirituality and develop lasting friendships. Join us in making unforgettable memories while deepening your faith!
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Welcome to our middle school community, where we prioritize growth, learning, and connection. Our Middle School COW (Community of Worship) and Faith on Friday groups foster a supportive environment for students to explore their faith and feel a sense of community. These gatherings encourage fellowship among students, them to build meaningful relationships and deepen their understanding of spiritual values. Together, we strive to create a nurturing atmosphere that empowers every student to thrive academically and socially.
Every Wednesday (almost) a strange thing happens: a bunch of middle school students have a great time at church! We like to call it COW, because we are at church on a Wednesday.
So here’s the deal: From 6:00 – 7:00 PM the middle school youth gather in the youth room for community, games, faith discussions and prayer.
We would love for you to join us! Bring your friends and experience what COW is all about! Questions or to help out contact Nick Gilbert.
Faith on Friday is a monthly program for 6th graders that meets on Fridays to explore their faith, mission, and meet new Christian friends! Contact Nick Gilbert for more information or register for Faith on Friday under the forms tab.
Youth Events are offered please check out the newsletter for what is coming up! Mission Trips take place each summer. In past years we have assisted with Hurricane Katrina relief, traveled to Mexico, and youth may also be able to travel to Guatemala in the springtime.
Centennial Area Summer Stretch is a community outreach for middle school students.
Lake Wapogasset Bible Camp is offered for a week in the summer. Look for registration in February.
