OSLC's New Bonfire Pit!

Last week, Sawyer Celotta successfully completed his Eagle Scout project, leaving a lasting impact on our campus and community. Through many hours of planning, hard work, and leadership, Sawyer organized a team of young volunteers to make significant improvements to our bonfire pit area.

The project included constructing new wooden benches, enhancing the gathering space, and creating a more welcoming and functional area for our youth, members and visitors to enjoy for years to come. Throughout the project, Sawyer demonstrated the leadership, dedication, and service that are hallmarks of an Eagle Scout.

The volunteers worked diligently tackling everything from building and installing the new benches to cleaning and improving the overall site. Of course, there was also time for fellowship and fun, including a well-earned lunch break shared by the crew.

The finished bonfire pit looks fantastic and will provide a comfortable place for campfires, songs, stories, and memories for many years ahead.

We are incredibly grateful to Sawyer, his family, and all of the volunteers who contributed their time and effort to this project. Their hard work has created a meaningful improvement that will benefit our entire community.

Congratulations, Sawyer, on completing your Eagle Scout project, and thank you for your outstanding service! A huge thank you also goes out the the rest of the volunteers - OSLC is grateful for your time and efforts.
